1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Savage Lex AI ('Platform'), operated by Savage Ventures LLC ('Company,' 'we,' 'us'), you agree to these Terms of Service ('Terms'). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date above when changes are made.

2. Description of Service

Savage Lex AI is an AI-powered court-preparation and legal information platform designed to help self-represented litigants across the United States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico organize information, understand general legal processes, and prepare for court proceedings.

The Platform is provided AS IS. Features may change without notice or be discontinued.

3. Not Legal Advice — Educational Use Only

IMPORTANT: Savage Lex AI does NOT provide legal advice. All content generated by this Platform is for general informational and educational purposes only.

• No attorney-client relationship is created by your use of this Platform
• AI responses do not constitute legal advice, legal opinions, or legal strategy
• Nothing on this Platform should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney
• Laws and procedures change frequently — always verify information with official sources or an attorney
• Outcomes in legal matters depend on specific facts, circumstances, and applicable law that AI cannot fully evaluate

For legal advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed attorney in your state or jurisdiction, or a legal aid organization.

4. Data Collection and Use

By using this Platform, you consent to:

• Collection of your messages, prompts, and usage data for platform improvement
• Retention of original chat messages in a restricted Raw Vault and routine review of sanitized interactions by Savage Ventures LLC staff
• Storage of your data for up to 12 months as described in our Privacy Policy
• Transmission of sanitized input through OpenRouter and, for supported document features, Mistral AI
• Use of limited sanitized conversation history to support follow-up questions
• Use of Guest and Free Plus sanitized interactions for service improvement or training, subject to the opt-out described in the Privacy Policy

You may opt out of non-essential data collection by emailing privacy@savagelex.com.

5. AI Redaction — Limited Warranty

We apply automated redaction to your input before it is processed by AI providers. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Redaction is automated and best-effort only — it is NOT guaranteed to be complete
• Some identifying information may still be transmitted despite redaction efforts
• You are solely responsible for not entering sensitive personal information
• Savage Ventures LLC is not liable for any PII transmitted despite redaction
• You should use placeholders (e.g., [NAME], [ADDRESS], [CASE NUMBER]) instead of real information

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

• Enter another person's personal information without their explicit consent
• Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or harm any person
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Platform's AI models or software
• Use the Platform for any commercial legal services or resale without written permission
• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security features, or access controls
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable state, territorial, local, or federal law

7. User Accounts and Guest Access

Some features require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Guest users are subject to daily usage limits. Guest access is provided for evaluation purposes only and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use this Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, trademarks, and materials on this Platform are owned by or licensed to Savage Ventures LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

AI-generated responses are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use in connection with your own legal preparation only. You may not republish or commercialize AI output from this Platform.

9. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAVAGE VENTURES LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Adverse legal outcomes, court judgments, or sanctions
• Missed deadlines, procedural errors, or default judgments
• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, business, revenue, or opportunity
• Any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR $50 IF YOU ARE A FREE/GUEST USER).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Savage Ventures LLC and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms
• Your submission of inaccurate, false, or harmful content
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party right
• Any legal matter you pursue based on AI-generated content

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Access to third-party sites is at your own risk.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved after 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules, conducted in Fulton County, Georgia.

YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST SAVAGE VENTURES LLC.
